Any information you provide during your time as a potential or paying monthly member will only be used to provide you with a great experience. We will never sell or share your information with anyone.
 
When interested in our service or becoming a Moov member, we may ask for the following information:

• First and last name
• Company name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Birthday
• Mailing Address
• Credit card information


Cookie and Site Data Policy

To give our visitors and members the best experience, our website uses both cookies and traffic reporting to provide our team with accurate site traffic data. By visiting our website, you acknowledge and agree to our use of both cookies and traffic reporting.


Free Website Design

Our free website design is ideal for small businesses, freelancers, and start-ups as it features a beautiful, simple design. There are no design fees or upfront deposits. The free website design can support up to 10 pages and is limited to certain features.
 
Our free website design currently supports the following:

• Up to ten pages per design
• Customizable text and headers
• Blog posting and commenting system
•  Photo galleries
• Video backgrounds
• Image placed backgrounds
• Contact submission forms
• Video embedding
• Audio collections
• Newsletter sign up box
• Location map
• Online calendar
• Clickable buttons
• Visual charts
• Social media linked accounts (limited to platform selection)
• Downloadable content button (documents, pdfs, etc)
• Mobile information bar
• Announcement bar and page
• Page password protection (excludes username accounts)
• Custom favicon
• Mobile optimization
• Third party integrations (limited to platform selection)

Our free website design currently does not support the following:

• PayPal integration
• Recurring payments
• Member logins
• Online stores
• Adobe flash
• Website animations
• Third party website design transfers
• Wordpress themes
• Custom coding or integration with any third-party API


Content Guidelines

While our free website service is perfect for many, it is not always the right fit for everyone. We have certain guidelines in place when it comes to a website's content.

The following types of content are not allowed:

• Sexual or adult themes
• Drug or violence themes
• Tobacco, e-cigarettes, cannabis, or illegal substances
• Content that you do not own the rights to
• Marketing (SEO rankings, likes, followers, etc)
• Phishing or transmitting viruses
• Multi level marketing or get rich quick schemes
• Excessive third party spam advertising
• Pop up ads
• File hosting or sharing
• Any content that may be considered illegal
• Any content that our team may find questionable


Website Management and Membership

Through our website management service, our team will host, manage, and update your website for you. Unlimited updates are always included within this service - there are no hourly rates.

To activate your website and fully benefit from our management service, you will be required to join Moov on a paying monthly membership. The current monthly membership rate is $99 USD per month, which supports the management of up to 10 pages. Websites with more than 10 pages may see a higher monthly management rate or be denied monthly membership.

When becoming a Moov member, we will ask for the following information:

• First and last name
• Company name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Birthday
• Mailing Address
• Credit card information

Don't worry, this information will be kept securely and will only be used to process your recurring monthly membership dues. Management of a Moov website is billed on a month to month basis and does not require a minimum commitment.


Management Of Existing Website

Our management service is only available with websites built through Moov. We are unable to manage or update any websites that you or another company built.


Unlimited Monthly Updates

Every member can enjoy unlimited updates with their monthly membership. There is no monthly limit to how many updates can be made to a website. Updates are considered changes to text and images, creation of new generic pages, deletion of generic pages, and minor changes throughout the website. Updates do not include major changes to a website's design, navigation layout, structural layout, embedding third party codes, or integrating the website with any of our third party partners.


How To Submit Updates

Updates can be submitted easily by emailing our team at hello@moovlabs.com.

Updates must be submitted from an authorized email that is on file under the account holder's name and/or business. For security reasons, update requests will not be honored if being sent from an unauthorized email. If an update has been accepted, please allow 24-48 hours for it to be successfully completed. Update turn around times vary depending on the size and details of each individual update. Once the update has been completed, the member will receive a confirmation email informing them of the update's completion.

Our team is allowed and reserves the right to deny any update they feel may hinder the luxury of our service or cause issues in the future, for either the member, the website, other members, or the Moov Team. If an update cannot be completed, our team will do their best to suggest an alternative. Moov and its services focus on simplicity, so keep in mind that update requests must meet this important criteria.

Updates are accepted Monday through Friday, from 10am to 5pm PST.


Promotions and Discounts

At times we may run promotions for both our monthly membership plan and friend referral program. All promotions fall under our general rules and policies but may have additional restrictions or terms.


Website Domains

Domains are not included within our membership plan and must be purchased separately by the member. We recommend going through GoDaddy to claim the perfect domain. Through our GoDaddy integration, we can link your Moov website to your domain quickly. For our team to link your domain, you must provide your login credentials to GoDaddy. Don’t worry, we never save or share this information.


SEO Marketing and Optimization

Although all our websites are SEO optimized to help strengthen a website's visibility, please note that SEO marketing strategies fall outside of our team's scope.

Given that search engines have complex algorithms and that everyone’s marketing needs are different, we’re unable to provide specific SEO advice to our members or other marketing services.


Friend Referral Program

Receive up to $200 for each friend referral that joins Moov on a paying monthly membership plan of $99 or more.

The following apply to the friend referral program:

• The $200 friend referral bonus will be issued in 4 separate increments of $50 over a period of 4 months.

• The first $50 referral bonus will be issued at the end of the month your referral completes their first month of paying membership.

• If your referral cancels their membership during this 4 month period, any future bonuses will be canceled. Any bonuses you previously received are yours to keep.

• Friend referrals must mention your name and website during their initial sign-up prior to submitting any type of payment information for their monthly membership.

• For a quick and easy payout experience, all referral bonuses will be sent straight to your bank account.

• To receive any referral bonuses, you must create an account with Zelle. The Zelle app and service are free and may even be offered through your current bank as an additional benefit. For more info, please visit zellepay.com.

• You will be required by law to complete a 1099 tax document if more than $600 is earned within a full calendar year. You will be responsible for any taxes owed from any referral bonus income earned.

• Additional websites created under the same member's account do not qualify towards the friend referral program.

• The friend referral program is currently only available for active Moov members.

• The friend referral program can be changed, modified, or canceled by our team at any time.


Content Ownership

By creating a website through Moov, you give our team permission to use any and all content you provide. We will never claim ownership of any content that you provide to our team. In the event your content is not your own or causes any legal issues, you agree to take full responsibility as the provider of the content. Please be sure that any content you provide belongs to you or that the original author is credited. 


Back-End Access To Members

Moov is not a do it yourself platform. Our team builds, manages, and updates your website for you, which means you will not have back end access to edit, modify, or update your website's content. Allowing members to have back end access would hinder the luxury of our service.


Website and Stock Images

You are always welcome to use any images of your own for your website. If you need images, we will gladly supply those for you. Any images provided fall under a Creative Commons Zero license, which means you are free to copy, modify, distribute and use the photos for free, including for commercial purposes.

Images that require a payment to download are not included with our service and must be purchased and provided by the member. We do not provide images from paid services such as Shutterstock, Adobe Stock, or Getty Images.

Using images that do not belong to you, images found through search engines (Google, Yahoo, etc), social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc) or taken from other websites cannot be used. When submitting images, you must be the original owner, have permission from the original owner, or have a commercial use license for each individual image. Using images that do not belong to you can risk the safety of the website and potentially shut it down. Our team is not responsible for any images or content that you may submit for the design of your website.


Design Platform and Hosting

The designing, editing, coding, and hosting of all Moov websites is done through the platform of a third party, Squarespace. Personal information, back-end integrations, and content on a website is subject to all Squarespace terms and policies.


Legal Disclaimer

In the event of a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on us, our subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, or agents, we may be required by law to disclose member information.


Location and Age Requirement

To become a Moov member and have an active membership, you must be 18 years of age and based in the United States. At this time, we are not taking on any projects outside of the United States.


Cancelling Your Membership

Our service is month to month, which means you can stop your membership at anytime – there are no cancellation fees or a minimum commitment.

To cancel your membership and website, please contact us at hello@moovlabs.com or 844-385-6668. Once canceled, your monthly membership will remain active until the end of your monthly billing cycle. After the monthly billing cycle is over, your website will no longer be live and will be removed from our system.

Before you cancel your membership, we strongly recommend gathering the information from your website and storing it in a safe place. Once a website is removed from our system, we will no longer have access to the information and can not accept responsibility for any deleted or lost content.


Transfer of Ownership

If you cancel your membership but would like to obtain ownership of the website within your own Squarespace account, you may request a transfer of ownership. There is a $800 transfer of ownership fee due before the transfer can be processed and completed.

Once transferred, we will no longer take responsibility of managing your website and you will be able to manage and edit it through your own Squarespace account.

Some website features that were once active on the website prior to the transfer may not be available once transferred into your own Squarespace account. Additional fees and costs within your own Squarespace account will apply and Moov will not be responsible for these. 


Failed Payments

If a membership payment fails and goes unpaid, the website related to the account will be taken offline and the account will be marked as unpaid. If the account remains unpaid for a total of 10 days the website will be deleted from our system. Once deleted, we will no longer have access to the website and its information. Our team will notify you about any failed payments but it is your responsibility to keep billing information updated and current.


Disputed Payments

If a member disputes a charge or membership payment with their bank, the member's account will be considered unpaid and the website linked to the account will be taken offline immediately. Our team will always reach out to the member to gather more information as to why the dispute was filed.

If the dispute was made in error, the member must reverse the dispute with their bank and provide our team with valid proof of the dispute reversal (such as withdrawal documentation directly from their bank). Providing this type of documentation will allow the website to be reactivated and set to a live status for online visitors to see. 

If the member proceeds with the dispute claim, our team will provide their bank with documentation and conversation logs to validate that the disputed charge was authorized by the member. The website linked to the member's account will remain deactivated and will be deleted from our system. Once deleted, we will no longer have access to the website and its information.

Changes To Our Rules and Policies

By becoming a Moov Labs member, you agree to review these rules and policies often and frequently, as we may not notify you of changes. In the event of any changes to our policies, you acknowledge that your Moov membership will fall under any new and updated changes to the policies and that any previous policies will no longer be valid.
